Fabric is one of the quickest ways to change how a room feels. Our event draping turns Philadelphia ballrooms, tents and plain halls into spaces that fit your colors and theme, using ceiling swags, pipe and drape walls and custom backdrops. You pick the look, and our crew handles the install and the teardown.

Draping Services for Ceilings, Walls and Backdrops

Most rooms have something to highlight and something to hide. We look at your venue's layout first, then decide where each wall, swag and backdrop goes.

Ceiling Draping

Ceiling draping brings a tall or plain ceiling down to a warmer, more finished height. We can swag fabric out from a chandelier, run sheer panels across the room or build a full tented ceiling with string lights. Ceiling work depends on what your venue allows, so we confirm rigging points with the venue before your date.

Pipe and Drape Walls

Pipe and drape is a freestanding frame of uprights, crossbars and weighted bases that holds fabric walls in place. It covers dated wallpaper, blank walls and back-of-house areas, and it can divide one large room into separate spaces for dinner and lounging. Our pipe and drape rental in Philadelphia includes delivery, setup and breakdown by our crew.

Backdrops for Stages, Head Tables and Entrances

A draped backdrop gives every photo a clean focal point. Our event backdrop rental covers DJ stages, head tables and sweetheart tables, along with themed entryways that greet guests at the door. Crisscross, swag and two-tone backdrop draping are all options.

Cabanas, Tents and Outdoor Draping

Drape cabanas frame lounge seating and VIP areas inside a ballroom, gym or tent. For tent draping and outdoor venues, we tie sheer panels to tent poles and pavilion columns to soften the structure. Pair a cabana with our lounge furniture for a complete VIP section.

Draping Styles and Fabrics

Ceiling, sheer and ballroom draping are the core of what we offer, and each one adapts to your venue and theme.

Sheer Draping

Light, translucent fabric that glows when uplighting hits it. Sheer panels suit ceremony backdrops, tent poles and ceiling swags.

Ballroom Draping

Floor-to-ceiling wall draping around the room's perimeter gives a formal, finished look. It turns a dated ballroom or plain hall into a clean canvas for your décor.

Swag and Crisscross Designs

Gathered swags and crossed panels add shape to backdrops and ceilings. They pair well with florals or a garland across the top.

Column Draping

Wrapped columns in solid or striped fabric become part of the theme instead of obstacles in the room.

Custom Colors and Themes

Two-tone walls, striped wraps and themed entrances can follow your colors, your logo or the party's theme.

How Different Events Use Draping

Every event asks something different of the fabric. Wedding draping gives the reception a finished look with sheer ceiling swags, a draped head table backdrop and soft wall panels. Couples can add wedding drapery rental to any of our wedding DJ packages. At bar and bat mitzvahs, themed backdrops, cabanas and lounge corners build the room around your child's theme.

For corporate events and galas, stage draping frames the program while pipe and drape walls hide back-of-house areas. Holiday parties pair draping and uplighting in seasonal colors, and school dances use cabanas and color walls so a gym stops looking like a gym. Birthdays and anniversaries can go as simple as one backdrop or as big as a fully draped room.

Questions About Event Draping

  • How much does event draping cost?

Draping starts at $15 per linear foot. Room size, fabric style and how much of the space you cover set the final number, and we'll price it once we know your venue and date.

  • What is pipe and drape?

Pipe and drape is a freestanding system of metal uprights, crossbars and weighted bases that holds fabric panels in place. It's the same draping you see behind stages and around ballrooms, and it needs no hardware on the venue's walls. Our pipe and drape rental includes setup and breakdown by our crew.

  • Can I book draping without a DJ?

Yes. Draping works as a standalone booking, and it also pairs with our DJ, MC, uplighting and photo booth services.

  • When should I reserve draping for my event?

Lock in draping once your venue and date are set. Some hosts reserve us up to three years ahead, and for weddings we suggest booking at least six months out.

  • Is your draping safe for venues?

Yes. We use flame-retardant fabric and confirm any ceiling rigging with your venue ahead of time. We're fully licensed and insured. Any venue that asks can get a certificate of insurance from us.
